Plays across the walls
In it's fifth year running, Plays Across the Walls celebrates community connections, theatre and storytelling as a means of bridging the walls. Plays Across the Walls is a festival of new ten-minute plays written by community participants. Each spring Rivka teaches a free playwriting workshop (at various community sites) and then stages the plays at SUNY Potsdam's campus (plays have also been staged at local correctional facilities, Potsdam Public Library, and streamed virtually). The play festival represents the perfect opportunity for playwrights from all walks of life to come together and put their create community through theatre-making.
